Last weekend, my father, Fukujiro, collapsed with a fever of 40 degrees Celsius. Suspecting COVID, we tried to find a hospital that would receive him, which took several hours while we waited in the ambulance. Fortunately, we eventually found a hospital and the PCR test showed that he didn’t have COVID. We subsequently moved him to his regular hospital, where he is currently admitted. I had seen a lot of coverages about such situations on news, but this really made me realize that the medical front is under tremendous pressure due to COVID. Even so, the paramedics and hospital staff who took care of my father were very courteous and calm. I am so grateful to them.
My father is still in a critical condition due to another ailment.
He once bought me a watch as a gift for entering junior high school, but I wasn’t exactly happy that the color of the watch was different from what I had asked for. He told me to go ahead and throw it away if I didn't like it. When I actually threw it away, he tried to hit me with a metal baseball bat; I ran out the door, and our neighbors came out and stopped my father. From then on, we stopped speaking to one another. But at the age of 26, when I dug deep into myself as part of my effort to become a contemporary artist, I was astonished to find that at the core of my personal development, I was thoroughly influenced by my father.
In particular, many of the mechanisms of the worldview that has shaped me, such as the contextualization of the relationship between Japan and the United States, as well as the understanding of the structure of Japan's chronic socio-political plague, were in large part inherited from my father.
My father has been contending with Alzheimer's disease for over 10 years now, so he has been living in a different landscape, but I feel that he has taught me and my brother many things, including through his current condition. Now at the hospital where he is admitted, COVID-protocol prohibits us from visiting him. I will try contacting him again tomorrow with a sliver of hope that I can see him one last time.

突然間，覺得會開始翻衣櫃的萬吉和秀娥，笑得越來越年輕了。

今天的衣服歷史都超過30年以上，是秀娥翻衣櫃、萬吉翻舊衣，搭出的藍白穿搭。

秀娥的衣服是她3、40歲出去玩會穿的；至於萬吉身上的西裝外套，則是一件被顧客遺忘30年的訂製西裝，不知道為什麼，這麼好看的衣服竟然會被遺忘了⋯但很意外，當年居然也有這麼合身的剪裁版型！

「藍白」，是萬吉說好看的配色法則。

The clothes all have a history of more than 30 year and it is the combination of Sho-er’s own vintage, plus forgotten clothes found by Wanji.

Sho-er’s clothes are those she would wear when she went out to at her age of 30 or 40s
As for the suit jacket on Wanji was a customized suit that had been forgotten by customers for 30 years. I really don’t know how such an amazing suit could be forgotten... But surprisingly, there was a tailored version that fits so well back then!!!

Blue and White is one of the color mating rules Wanji really likes.
(He said blue and white would never go wrong haha )
